Saturday 6th February
Tickets: £10
Doors: 8.00pm
The Kings Arms, Malmesbury

Martha is a captivating performer, an enchanting young singer-songwriter blessed with a gloriously clear and seductive voice. Her songs are exquisitely melodic and rooted in environmental, human and social issues as well as celebrating love, inner peace and the natural world.

A sparkling repertoire of self-penned songs‘ -Timeout.

She has probably the purest voice I have heard and at times it sent shivers up and down my spine‘ – Lee Allen, BBC.

Appearing at Malmesbury Acoustic as part of her Spring tour, we have the rare opportunity to see Martha play with her spellbinding trio.

Supporting we have the ever popular Bookshop Band, featuring Beth Porter and Grammy Award winning musician Ben Please.

The Bookshop Band are unique. They write songs exclusively inspired by books. They formed as part of the author events at local muti-award winning independent bookshop, Mr Bs Emporium Of Reading Delights. When an author comes in to do an author event, the band read their book before hand and write two songs inspired by it, to be performed in front of the author and audience at the start of the event. Three years later, the band have written 99 songs inspired by books, and their concert at The Wiltshire Music Centre coincides with the debut performance of their 100th song, written inspired by one of the many book recommendations fans have written in their guestbook over the least three years.
